This is NOT a good deal for Mickies tickets via the website given by Sams. I had just checked today on Disneys site earlier today and that was a few dollars less straight from Disney.

We just got our tickets from this discount ticket center and saved quite a bit as well as receiving 2 days free when we purchased our 3 day Disney tickets. I went to Disney’s main website as well and found that they do not give free upgrades and did NOT include their sales tax in their prices, so be aware of this fact when comparing prices.

  3. Hi Gary~
Thank you for your feedback on The Official Ticket Center, one of our newest Smile & Save partners.

The Official Ticket Center provides discount prices on nearly all major Orlando attractions, and they are offering additional discounts to Good Sam members, depending on the pricing they can get from the venue. It is difficult to get major discounts from Disney, particularly in high season, and the current Good Sam offer is five days for the price of three. We encourage members to shop around for the best deal, and we recommend that you check to see if the sales tax is included in the other prices you may find — this can be quite substantial and add to the final cost.

Again, thank you for your comments!

I clicked on your smile and save link and the tickets prices are about 20.00 higher than they are at the gates at Disney World! We were expecting to save money. There isn’t even a place on that site to put our good sam member number to get the savings. How do we get the discount?

  5. Hello David~
Thank you for your comments. The Smile & Save page is behind the member login so only Good Sam members can access this section of our site so there is no need for you to re-enter your membership number.
Relative to pricing, please be sure you are comparing apples to apples. Walt Disney World does not discount on 1 or 2 day ticket sales unless you are a serving military member or a Florida resident. You can get these discounts directly through Disney. The discounts offered to Good Sam Club members through The Official Ticket Center start at a 3-day ticket in which they upgrade for Free to a 5-day ticket. If you break this down in days, a Good Sam member will only pay $47.40 a day compared to $87.33 per day. Also, did the price you see from Disney include Tax? That is usually added at check out so be sure you are looking at that as well when making your comparison.
I hope this helps to clarify things!
