March 22 – 25, 2012

Arizona will be commemorating its 100th anniversary in 2012, and the Good Sam Rally will be there to help celebrate, March 22 – 25, at the Phoenix International Raceway. Just minutes from metropolitan Phoenix, the Rally site offers acres of premium RV parking, surrounded by vistas of desert mountains and gorgeous sunsets each evening.

Rally registration is now open and reservations are streaming in. Although this is a new venue for the Good Sam Rally, all of the favorite Rally events will take place in Phoenix, along with some new twists! Informative seminars discussing all aspects of the RV lifestyle and quality professional entertainment each evening will join longtime favorites like the Rally Dog Show and our all new Pet Parade. Hundreds of new RVs will be on display, along with vendor booths featuring a wide array of products all geared to enhance the RVing experience. Camping World service representatives will again provide complimentary service appointments for Rally guests on a first come, first served basis. And of course, all Rally guests become a part of the Rally community  having fun, visiting with friends and making lots of new ones along the way.

Whether it’s the concerts, seminars, shopping, or just making new RVing friends, you are sure to have a great time when you join us in Phoenix next spring! Register now by visiting therally.com or call 800-701-1399. All-inclusive Rally prices for all four days start at only $189/rig….entitling you to the entire Good Sam Rally experience — good times, great friends, top-line entertainment and more, all in a beautiful location!

And the fun doesn’t stop in Phoenix. We have two more Rallies scheduled for 2012 – Louisville, Kentucky, June 21 to 24, and Daytona, Florida, November 2 to 4. Check the Rally website, therally.com for more information.

Would be nice to go to on the way home but I don’t think so at those prices. It is nice to see it planed at that time of the year so snow birds on thier way home can stop over, but we also have high gas bills at that time of the year traveling 1500-2000 miles.

Oh I hope I can make it. Like Reg, I am 1200 miles from Pheonix and plan to stay in the midwest due to fuel expenses. Living on Social Security is not fun. I wish I were still working. However I look forward to my first Good Sam Rally. When I was working, I was to busy to go to one. Now I have all the time in the world, but I never realized how much I was ppaying out for my lifestyle. Anyhow I can hardly wait to meet so many other members.

    Sorry price is to high…..

  4. Nancy says:

Can’t justify the price. Especially since we will already be in the area, not 5 miles from the site, where we camp every winter. They need a lesser price for local people who just want to drive their car over to participate for a day.

  5. Good Sam says:

Great news Nancy! We actually do offer day passes to the indoor and outdoor exhibitor areas for $10 a day. You can find more information on this here: http://therally.com/information/day-pass/. Hope you can make it!

This will be our first rally in Arizona. We are looking forward to it. We get to have electricity this time. Thanks to a generous “give-away” at the Redmond Rally where we were able to register for 1/2 price. Yes, living on Social Security makes it hard. But, we save every dollar we can for the gas tank. And we (especially my husband) has worked hard to keep our “Breezy” in good condition. We bought her new in 1999, and have put 154,000 plus miles on her. And she is a gas rig. We will be travelling about 1200 miles from our home to get there. And we are in way Northern CA where the gas prices have been over $4.10 per gallon all year. So we are grateful to get away from these prices. This is our 10th rally. Both Good Sam and FMCA. Driving to the rallies is so much fun. Being there is fun and relaxing – sometimes we volunteer, too. And we are not getting any younger, so we are going to go until we drop or the bank account is dry!!!
