Tips to Safely Transport Your Holiday Treats

Along with the Christmas presents, families also enjoy many good eats and treats this time of year. From casseroles to pies, this holiday is one that will most likely cause us all to add a notch in our belts. The holidays are additionally one of the busiest traveling times of the year. While the holiday presents are bought and the holiday menu is usually planned in advance, a plan for transporting the presents and goodies is usually last on the list of plans. Here are some helpful tips on how you can get your packages and popular homemade goodies to their destination safely.
If you’re traveling in an RV, you should obviously store as much of the perishable food items as possible in your refrigerator. We all know how food items tend to move around in the fridge during transport, so to keep your munchies organized and from falling in the floor as soon as you open the fridge door, handy refrigerator bars  will aid in keep things organized and in place. If additional storage is needed, a portable cooler  is also a safe and clean way to transport your goodies. These suggestions will help to diminish the number of accidents and messes that are created in route. Inevitably, there will be the occasional spill. We suggest always bringing a few old towels on the road just for those instances.
You may also have additional non-perishable food items to transport in additional to the much-coveted Christmas presents.
