Good Sam members love camping! And when you can save on campground fees, it makes the campground experience even more 
enjoyable. As one of the primary benefits of membership, the Good Sam Club offers members a 10% discount off the regular nightly rate at more than 1,700 Good Sam RV Parks [4] and campgrounds. And for those of you who make several trips throughout the year or are even full-timers, the savings really add up.
So how can you tell which campgrounds honor the Good Sam discount? Simply look for Good Sam’s smiling face on flags, signs and stickers at Good Sam RV Parks across North America. This symbol of savings lets members know that they can enjoy their member discount at these RV campgrounds. It also gives members confidence as Good Sam ensures that these locations have been approved by the club’s traveling raters who travel the continent and rate each Good Sam RV Park based on their triple rating system [5]. Overall rating scores are based on the facilities, restrooms, and visual appeal.
“I rely heavily on the Good Sam brand to ensure that I’m staying at a safe, clean park,” says Good Sam member Karen McCormick, a sentiment shared by many traveling members.
To receive the 10% discount, simply show your Good Sam membership card when you check in at a Good Sam RV Park. The discount will be deducted from the regular nightly RV rate and is available 365 days a year, with no blackout dates. Most campgrounds charge $30-$40 per night. With your Good Sam member discount, you save an average of $24 on a week-long RV trip. Note that the discount cannot be applied to long-term rates or combined with group discounts.
