We took our RV in to our local RV repair and service shop for its first annual inspection. Our appointment was for April 14, 2012, which also happened to be the expiration date of our RV’s warranty. We received a call from Miller’s RV on April 17 stating that the axle bearings were overfilled, causing bearing grease [...]

Tire Monitor Trouble

When Good Sam Life members Robert and Marie Brooke of Newberry, Michigan, had trouble with their new tire-pressure monitoring system, they turned to Action Line for help. “We purchased the Tire-SafeGuard on January 12, 2012. On our trip in April, we had problems with it picking up the readings on the car. We called the 800 number, and a man said he would call back. He did not. On May 7, we talked with this same man. He said he would send us a free replacement sensor. We did not receive it.”

Electrical Repairs Reimbursed

Good Sam members Terry and Karen Rosenquist contacted Action Line for help with the following problem: “We made reservations and paid in advance for a month’s stay at Rancho California RV Resort–Outdoor Resorts. Upon arrival, we plugged into the 50-amp service. It didn’t work. The maintenance man said the 30-amp receptacle was working. I plugged into that and went into the coach to let my wife know we were on 30 amps. We then heard a big bang.”
