When Good Sam member Steve Becker’s keyless-entry system failed to unlock the door of his 2008 motorhome, he expected the manufacturer to replace it, as pledged in the company’s warranty. That didn’t happen, so the Kirkland, Washington, RVer sought help from the Good Sam Club’s Action Line consumer advocacy program.

When Good Sam Life members Robert and Marie Brooke of Newberry, Michigan, had trouble with their new tire-pressure monitoring system, they turned to Action Line for help. “We purchased the Tire-SafeGuard on January 12, 2012. On our trip in April, we had problems with it picking up the readings on the car. We called the 800 number, and a man said he would call back. He did not. On May 7, we talked with this same man. He said he would send us a free replacement sensor. We did not receive it.”

We purchased a new Toyota Tundra in 2007 and the Extra Care Platinum warranty from Toyota of Des Moines. We have always had the truck serviced regularly at Toyota dealers. Toyota of Des Moines installed new struts at 30,000 miles. The service manager said the technician removed the lower ball joints to install struts on both sides.
